I did not receive Chinese 7, Spanish 7, and Japanese 7 e-mail's. --26 Jun 2006
In order to quickly solve your problem, you can get the missing emails on Internet. Type the following URL in your browser:
http://www.bestvoc.com/p/4-words-a-day.php?s=E&t=Chi&e=7
"s" stands for source language, "t" for target language and "e" for email number.
Hereunder are all the values you'll need for your own languages.
| | Chinese | Dutch | English | French | German | Italian | Japanese | Portuguese | Russian | Spanish |
s source language | - | D | E | F | G | I | - | P | - | S |
t target language | Chi | Dut | Eng | Fre | Ger | Ita | Jap | Por | Rus | Spa |
Hi, I'm sorry to disturb you, but I have applied for the "4 Russian words a day" and I can't see them. Even though I have installed the cyrillic font, the words I'm receiving aren't correct. What should I do? Thanks in advance! --16 May 2006
For Chinese, Japanese and Russian we use a Unicode font : Arial Unicode MS. If your system does not have that particular font, it will try to replace it with another one, sometimes successfully, sometimes not.
Arial Unicode MS was once available free of charge, but is not anymore. I still have got the .exe file to install that font, but I cannot offer it on my website for a free download, that would be illegal.
If your computer can read Unicode, you might still have problems with your email software/provider. If this is the case, I can send you an invitation for a GMAIL account (Google). It does work perfectly!
